On call Factory Cleaners Needed

Programmed are currently looking for experienced manufacturing cleaners to join a well known snack foods factory located in Tingalpa.

In this role you will assist in maintaining site hygiene in a food manufacturing plant. You will be sanitizing and cleaning equipment, chemical handling and food safety knowledge is essential.

To begin with you will be on-call (min 10 hours per week), and you will work casual shifts across the 24/7 roster. Over time your shifts will become more stable and predictable.

Possessing your own transport is also a must as public transport may not accessible for some shifts.

About the Roles:

  • Working in a food manufacturing environment

  • Chemical handling and sanitization

  • Cleaning equipment such as conveyor belts, filling machines, hoppers and more

  • Exposure to many food products including allergens

  • Manual handling where required

  • On-call roster (casual hours across day, afternoon or night shift, any days per week)

  • Minimum 10 hours per week

  • Option to also pick up housr in other departments eg packing

About You:

  • Previous experience with factory cleaning essential (industrial cleaning)

  • Chemical and food safety knowledge

  • High attention to detail

  • Must be available Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday minimum

  • Available to work day, afternoon and night shifts on the 3 sanitization days

  • Happy to complete a pre-employment medical and police check

  • Own transport
